About 6-8 months ago a new family moved in next door , a couple with 2 children and the wife prego with #3.

I hear my dogs outside raising hell , not their normal bark very ferocious sounding , so i look out the window and the little boy (about 8) is kicking the fence and making barking sounds back at my dogs , so i go put some pants on so i can go outside and tell him to stop. .... when i get to the door to open it this little bastard has a brick in his hands and throws the brick at 1 of my dogs.

I hollar "hey little boy dont throw stuff at my dogs" ... he says i didnt .... i said yes you did i saw you , now dont ever do that again.

Then the mother comes lurching out of the garage and gives me shit for raising my voice at her child. ....Can you believe that ? The kid is throwing a brick at my dog and she tells me not to raise my voice to her child!!! :>(

Can't stand these brats OR the parents raising them.. Problem is the 'everyone gets a trophy' 'everyone is special' generation is now raising kids.

I understand most parents will be defensive for their kids, but she should of whopped his ass. Lack of discipline is a huge problem with todays youth

If that was me throwing the brick, my mom would have asked you what's going on, & afteryou would have told her iI threw a brick, I would have gotten a few slaps on my butt.......today's parents reward their children for absolutely the smallest tasks & don't discipline them at all.

Its sickening how family values has regressed so badly......what has caused this?

I don't know why kids like this can't make better use of their time. Like maybe going out target shooting with Uzi's or something...

Yeah my mother would have spanked me for throwing the brick and then she would have spanked me more for telling stories to the nice man next door. :)

Put up a rickety shed way in the back of your yard, then put a sign up that reads "Free Candy". Your neighbors will probably move out soon enough.

Well, I guess the problem was an isolated incident since it was 7-8 months ago. Kids today are so screwed up. I don't have kids (thank god) but all my friends tell me "if you don't have kids, you just don't know." So I don't know that kids need to be disciplined? Hmm. It's an epidemic. I see it everywhere and even with my close friends. Parents just seem to let their kids run the show and get away with whatever. The worst parents that I've noticed as far as letting kids act like assholes are Indians. Those kids truly run the show. This world is going to shit. Lol

The problem with the kids are the parents. My buddy has a couple and I noticed him reasoning with them years ago. For instance if you do this you will get this. Wtf? How about you do this because that's what I'm telling you to do. Kids get rewarded for everything. That's a huge problem. Kids don't appreciate things like they use too. They also have less respect for adults. It's the parents and Disney channel.

I did apologise and told her i wouldnt have shouted at him face to face , i was hollering down from my deck about 25 yards away so of course i was yelling. .... i also gave her the brick back and showed her the missing spot from her flower bed where it went. .... she never apologised or anything. ... i just dont get it ???

sounds like she is uncivilized and teaching her kid to be the same, maybe she'll see the light and improve in that area someday

Yeah, she sounds like a real good person. Next time just call the police.

Yes guys, It is the parents fault.

And what about the parents? Must be their parent's fault as well and so on and so on.

Now, it must be god's fault.

term limits and eliminating the 2 party political system would cure a lot of our problems
