not to sound crazy but the 27 yankees and the 98 yankees both had fierce lineups. The 98 team was a team of professional hitters that knew how to hit, and murder's row was what it is. Also until this yakee team can hit a 20 yr old rookie from double A they aren't the best. Dont take this as me bashing the yanks as im a die hard fan, but when i see these sorry pitchers shut us down it tends to fester as to why they cant hit some of these guys that get lit up by sub par teams

Arod may be an all-star, but when a big game is on the line, you
can count on him to choke, either by whiffing or by making
a few errors.

I agree Journeyman, this is one of the best hitting lineups of ALL TIME. Cano gets no respect, he is a great hitter.

Bet'em over is all I can say. Even lights out Rivera is a major question mark. That pitching staff is going to get torched some nights, the offense is going to have to bail them out in October. Big Unit and Moose as your number one and two both going about 200 innings during the season does not instill confidence.

Forget the lineup, the guy who turned this season around and is the reason they will win the division again is Wang. His ERA was around 5 when the team was struggling and he went in for a save. Since that save, he has been awesome getting his ERA down to 3.60 and the team has gone 14-4 in his starts.

untrue, you just hear about it alot more often when he does compared to anyone else.

The guy has had more than his fair share of GW hits and big plays in late innings.

Cano reminds me of Rod Carew...with more pop...I believe he will be another Jeter type player for NY for many years. ...this is the best lineup (when healthy) in MLB history.
