I know it's early, but they are just not the Yankees...
Already today losing 6-0 at home to the powerful CHAN HO PARK

Jaret Wright has been like a big pile of dog crap since leaving the Braves....Kevin Brown is DONE...and SO FAR Randy just hasn't been Randy....

I'm a Sox fan, so I don't feel bad for them

Wright is a train wreck. He really fooled em by getting that big contract off of one good season last yr w/ the Braves. Another guy who should collect his paycheck w/a mask.

i'm telling you guys.. i started a thread a few days ago asking if steinbrenner would ever give up spending 200 million a year.

i think he does and puts a 80 million dollar team on the field within 2 years.

he has to be getting tired of getting beat and still blowing all that dough.

rebuild your farm system

Wright is a joke, still have no idea why the Yankees of all teams would throw him that much money....one good year.

I believe he goes to 300 Mill before he goes to 80. I would lay -140 on that

I can't see George dropping payroll...he's obviosly digging the hole deeper though, aging pitchers, questionable free agent signings....guaranteed money.

Brown was never a good AL pitcher, Wright, had one good year and Johnson is ancient yet still can throw hard, Mussina has dropped two notches...Rivera isn't automatic...This is the 2005 version of the 1998 Texas Rangers

I hate to ask, but they still are the favorites to win the World Series? GS is paying a lot of money to aged and ineffective arms. They are losing this arms race badly. Farm system gutted and of no value. So, if the Yankees are really in trouble, this early, how can you make money knowing this, besides fading them every game?

Best Wishes...OF:icon_conf

Youre damn right WNO. That farm is the whole damn problem. I've heard of giving up the farm, but this is rediculous.

It's a lot more cost effective to call up a few different guys to try them out and find a stud at hundred thousand dollar level contracts than it is to commit to a multi million dollar POS like wright.

The Red Sox farm is looking very good BTW :shoota:

I think it's GREAT.
New Yorkers like Steinner and Trump are 2 arrogant ******** that think their money can buy anything.
I would LOVE to see them finish under .500
