The worst officiated period this year

Embarrassing to say the least. I have no money on the game (other than futures), so I really don't care who wins. However, I would like to sit back and enjoy a good game. I also enjoy watching clean hits, like the one delivered by Kronwall. Not a single referee had his arm up after the hit, but the kid gets ejected. 5 minute major for interference? Then a questionable holding call, followed by a non-call when Stuart is high sticked.

I just feel bad for the league. They want this series to go 6 games so badly, but c'mon. I will be quickly switching over to the Braves/Jays and Magic/Cavs if this keeps up.

The Wings lost a top 4 dman for the rest of the game and they will now be undoubtedly more tired for playing that entire period short handed.

this is a misnomer--that you necessarily expend more energy killing penalties than you do playing on the power play cause you have 1 less man. Most of that 2 minutes is played within one half of the ice.

btw-- aren't the Chicago's top players (obviously had excessive ice time due to the pp's) not 'tired' for the remainder of the game?? maybe they didnt have to skaet cause they were on the pp?
