I agree Silver, Herbie has had to learn how to fend them off years ago when he first got started. Its the "older' announcers who still like to take a "poke" every now and then, like Mussberger, and even old Vern Lundquist (word has it, he can't score with the high-profile side-line women but does real well with the women in the technical crews, late at night after everything is packed away). They say that Marv Albert, Chris Schenkel, Jack Brick house and Mel Allen just to mention a few of the long-gone announcers that were always in-the-hunt after the games were over.
