today i encountered the worst customer service
that i've ever encountered in dealing off shore.
it was with belmont. i deposited money using firepay and it was credited to my account, the problem was it had to be converted to v chips before it could be wagered. since i wasn't familiar with their system, i tried to call for tech support, but the phone wasn't working.
so i tried their online support, i couldn't for
the life of me figure out how to convert $$ to v chips, i basically begged the person to show me as 2 of the games i wanted were going off in at 6pm cst, i started this at around 5:15 to 5:30. the person would take several min to answer each question as i begged to please hurry.
the person seemed to be more amused by my dilemma than assisting me. when i finally got the $$ squared away, i tried betting, columbia, cornell, penn and the wolves were the
teams that i wanted, but as i saw the screen
that the line on penn changed to -5, then columbia and cornell were listed as starting.
i immediately called and asked to speak to a supervisor, but he also seemed amuzed as he told me there was nothing that he could do,
but it appeared he was taking pleasure in the fact that the games went off before i could get the bets in. i'd only heard good things about belmont, that is why i set up an account there, but if i knew their customer service was
that bad, i never would have signed up there.
i know there is nothing that can be done, and others have more pressing complaints about books that don't/slow pay, but i just thought i would "vent" as i'm very angry. one problem is i guess that i'm spoiled by the service that i recieve at oly,bet jm,gameday, and
sportingbet (even though belmont is under the sportingbet umbrella).
to add injury to insult, both columbia and cornell won and covered. i'm sure this makes both maurice(manager) and rosie(tech support)
very happy as they seemed gleeful at my misfortune. to sum it up, belmont has the absolute worst customer service that i've encountered ( even worse than the people that take returns at best buy).
