I watched the video and it was nice, but what are you looking for as far as a response? Are you just trying to get people riled up and saying shit like "is that what happened to you?" and stuff like that?

Huh? Have to disagree with you here. No one said anything until JustinCrusie started complaining about the lack of response with the comment, "Guess this thread just isn't as riveting as the next Brady to die. Smh". He chose to bring further attention to this thread, and got the response he wanted.

crazy situation, I always thought transgender was just a gender change choice that was made... is it medically proven someone can have a "male mind" with girl parts or vice versa?

At least the parents aren't giving the kid a sex change operation, or hormones at the age of 8 (and younger) like many of the other sicko parents out there.

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2011/10/1...-young-transgender-patients-raises-questions/

"A lesbian couple in California who say their 11-year-old son Tommy who wants to be a girl named Tammy are giving their child hormone blockers that delay the onset of puberty -- so that he can have more time that he can have more time to decide if he wants to change his gender."

Hmmm... Could the fact that this boy has 2 mommies and no daddy have any factor in his gender confusion? Duh?

Walt Heyer, whose book "Paper Genders" details his own experience transitioning from a man to a woman and back again, agreed. "The blockers should NOT be introduced to a child," Heyer said. "If they are going to make a transition, they should wait to do so when they reach 18 to 20 years old. When you start the therapy at that age you are not dealing with the fact that the mind is not fully developed."
Heyer also cited a Dutch study that said 61 percent of individuals who desire a gender change are found to have secondary psychiatric disorders, such as depression or dissociative disorder, which he suffered from.
Other critics asked whether Tommy’s same-sex parents may be unknowingly influencing his questions about his gender.
“Undue influence on the child simply has to be ruled out,” said psychiatrist Keith Ablow, a Fox News contributor. “It's the psychologically correct thing to do, the ethical thing to do and the moral thing to do."
"Obviously, when two females adopt a male child, then assert that the child is not actually male, but is, instead, actually a female -- like both of them. Everyone in the family should be psychologically evaluated in a comprehensive way before a step like gender reassignment is considered,” said Ablow.

Zit, there are thousands of children out there that have gender confusion. The vast majority have a mommy and a daddy.

Zit, I have a question. While you have beliefs that differ from some, why do you or others feel it necessary (including the liberals) to impose your POV upon others.

i am not saying I am for or against Michael Sam's personal life being on display and I understand those who object to it. Only, part where I disagree with you as that I believe all individuals should have equal rights. I do not believe those that object to equal rights for gays, should be criticized for their views. I just don't understand everybody's need to ram their perspective down others throats.

LOL. Why am I the one who is "imposing" when I express my views? Funny how when Tim Tebow was open about his Christianity, he got slammed, because football isn't the place to express religion (supposedly). But, it's ok for Michael Sam to make out with his gay boyfriend during the draft? As if that is the place for a gay make-out session?

Where is the criticism of Justin Cruise, when he starts a thread with a very contentious subject matter (i.e. poll: do you believe in gay marriage) and then he goes on to slam everyone in the thread that disagrees with him. Why isn't he criticized by you for pushing his pro-gay marriage views? Why wasn't he criticized for "imposing?"

This is the exact kind of post the mods shouldn't tolerate if they are going to stand behind their recent warnings.

Just useless crap that clutters up this forum. Pathetic.

Because you are the only person with a over zealous agenda in every thread. You don't hear justin cruise talk about his religious beliefs in every thread. The fact that you stick out like a sore thumb should be some indicator that you Try to shove your POV you down other peoples throat more than anyone else.

100% bullshit.

Everyone in here expresses viewpoints all day long, every day. You just have your panties in a wad because you have a different viewpoint than mine.

I don't start threads incendiary threads in the main forum like Justin Cruise, and then rant and bitch when people disagree with me, like he did. Funny
how you're not ragging his ass for *imposing* his views on everyone else?

Fact is, most of the time I'm fairly restrained and respectful.
