LBJ sure thinks so after comments made by Phil Jackson today.

I always thought it meant a group of individuals derived from our days in the old west?

Idiot...
It's OK to say nagger if your black.. it's OK to say posse if your black. Blah blah blah..

In the ghetto dictionary, he does travel with a crew/posse. A dozen or so comprised of semi employed Nayer Do Wells, that can keep shit real, and protect the mob boss... Lebrons..
Lol pretty funny really, cause as he told the story, HE HIMSELF DIDN'T SAY POSSE, it was a story he was recalling, that pat Reilly said it.

Sooooooo, this makes the story quotable, thus...

People are so tired of this kind of behavior. I was thinking the other day when Trump was elected, how many of these black athletes will boycott going to the White House after they win a championship.

The reason those guys don't like the term posse doesn't have anything to do with race, it has to do with the fact it is dismissive of them professionally. It basically implies that they are lottery winners and not real executives. Lottery winners instead of businessmen.

Whether that is true or not? It is debatable. I'm sure they aren't idiots but obviously being on the LeBron train has helped them tremendously. They need to just accept the fact that there will always be a perception among many that LeBron helped to get them where they are. That's life.

But they know no one really is going to care about professional slights or perception that they aren't credentialed. So they have to turn it into race.

If Mike Trout did the same thing with his friends, I don't think it would be called anything different.

Sorta like when Lone Ranger told Tonto to go get a posse. He came riding up with naked women and The Lone Ranger says dammit tonto, I said posse! Posse!

In this instance though you're wrong. LBJ made it racial by playing that card in his press conference.

That has nothing to do with what I said.

Read the post again.

I'm saying they're using race as an excuse for being PO'd about a professional slight. The slight being that they aren't legitimate because they're on team LeBron.

problem with the ''pc'' crowd- make a innocent comment- then they try to interpret what you ''really'' meant

I don't agree at all. Any excuse to use race as an excuse, is a good excuse these days.

Seems like you got confused and can't bring yourself to say "Oh I see what you are saying."

Not really anything new for you obviously.
