Carol's timing of arrival at Terminus was a really long shot. Real luck there. Also, Rick avoiding getting devoured in the 1st episode after waking up in the hospital and not knowing walkers were walkers was really random. How he didnt encounter a walker from the hospital to his house is unbelievable (besides the female zombie with no legs).
I'd say zombie apocalypse survival is a lot like war zone survival (WW2 war zone style). I'd say strength is 4, intelligence 3 and luck 3. The luckiest and smartest character is Eugene, he has zero strength but is the most intelligent person (and he will become really important for Rick soon). Carol was the weakest link 2 seasons ago and she is now one of the leaders... what doesnt kill ya, makes you stronger.
I loved the Governor, but the way most of the storyline was handled was a hit or miss... in the comics is really epic (he kills Lori and Judith, gunshot to the back). He also rapes Michonne multiple times after he kidnaps her (they switched that angle for Andrea and there was no raping involved). When Michonne escapes she castrates the Governor and also cuts one of his arms and gouges one eye out.
Agreed Terminus could have been milked for at least half a season.
Haha, whaaaaaaaaaaat! All that goes on in the comic book? That's crazy. They definitely made the Governor much more likeable. Even his gladiator style fighting matches weren't that bad. The cannibals were just brutal. Don't have to spoil it if you don't want to but if you know... are those gay dudes in the new community bad guys or do they turn out good?
Those gay dudes are good guys, you can tell just from their dialogues and the way they carry themselves... Alexandria safe zone in DC is where they are from and it's relatively safe, for a while. There's a bunch of shit they need to mellow out for basic cable, that's a shame. If this show was produced by HBO it would be 5x better... I love the way the Governor was portrayed, clean cut closet psycho, manipulative and hotheaded, the actor did a great job. In the comics he is long haired bearded pirate looking motherfucker lol.
The cannibals were great... I think they could have developed the story of Rick and co being jailed 2 or 3 eps. and then the escape and the killing of the cannibals for the remaining 5. Beth should have survived, most stupid death ever.
I took that into cosideration when I decided they were the same guy... also his writing style, when he gets offensive is like when Cruise used to get offensive, he used to explode and then he calmed down and started crying because of the bullying. What they do different is the humour, RunMaker seems better at it but you know, if you are trying to be someone else you do need to change your "online personality" haha.
