To sabotage NK missile tests, Obama reportedly ordered Pentagon officials to step up their cyber and electronic strikes against the country's missile program in 2014.

USA still can't counter North Korea's nuclear and missile programs, the New York Times reported following a months-long investigation, based on interviews with officials in the Obama and Donald Trump administrations as well as 'a review of extensive but obscure public records'.

North Korea's threats remain so dangerous that when Obama left office he warned Trump that this would likely be the most urgent problem he'd face, the Times said.

In search of a new way to destroy missiles, the Obama administration started to look into a strategy known as the 'left of launch'.

The strategy is to attack by electronic embedment or through the electronic radar signatures of the threat's command and control systems and the targeting systems of the threatening ballistic missiles, according to the Missile Defense Advocacy Alliance.

An important rule to remember is that if the New York Times prints something, the exact opposite must be true. This means Trump has effectively countered North Korea's weapons programs.

At some point in time I think we've got to strike North Korea but it would need to be a regime change with the South taking over - then it get's complicated - we could destroy their weapons sites within 3 days I would imagine

The reason N.Korea exists is because the Chinese wanted a buffer state between them and the Western powers. We were on the verge of winning the conflict before the Chinese sent in their army to push us back. Thus the Chinese will never allow the South to unify the peninsula. It's called a quagmire.

Kim Jong-Un, pictured, gave the order for the drill to start, North Korea's official Korea Central News Agency reported. 'Feasting his eyes on the trails of ballistic rockets', he praised the Hwasong artillery unit that carried it out, the government news agency said

'The four ballistic rockets launched simultaneously are so accurate that they look like acrobatic flying corps in formation, he said,' the agency added, referring to Kim. Photographs published by Rodong Sinmun newspaper showed Kim watching the missiles rise into the air
