Wil,

I am that poster and I mentioned the 2 email addresses in post #31. There is no turth to Rod's claim of 4 names. The only "agenda" I have with Rod is for him to keep his word. After all, to quote him it is "his bond".

Are you the same poster who emailed me in April for help?

Where were you anti tout people last month when Dave Scandialiato AKA Meat and Potatoes was using this forum to blackmail Nine.com?

You took a lot of heat there wil for what seemed to me to be an obvious situation. I put in my 2 cents. The difference was, as you know, punters always like to take the players side and bash the book. Must say I was surprised by how onesided it was.

Same thing just happened with WSEX and horses. Oldman Ted posted the definitive response but the bashing continued. People need to read and know the rules so my standard reply of "caveat emptor" applies again to the horse play and to paying touts.

I was under the impression I was sending the email to SportsSavant but you may have ended up with it.

Your damn right Koroshiya has an agenda - he was scammed by this POS and it was all done under the veil of the RX just like Kodiak does - if you are a tout POS you cannot post here in any forum - impliment this and no more scams will go on.

people, touts are lying, used-car salesmen scumbags and everyone knows it. while i do feel sorry for this japanese guy and others like him who pay for picks, it is their decision to do so and they have to live with the results.

why is it the r/x's job to protect people from rod and kodiak and other scum? it is so freaking obvious to anyone who is on these boards for a few weeks that there is better info available here for free...why would anyone pay? how do you protect somebody who would do that?

i cant believe the bullshit that wilheim has to deal with. whatever the r/x is paying him...it aint enough.

Blue,

I agree with you. You have to look out for yourself. I am not asking for the protection of the mods, and really don't ever expect to see my refund, but that's ultimately my own fault. The reason I contacted the Mods in the first place was becasue I knew they had some type of relationship with Rod, and I was hoping they could find out if he was serious about paying the refund since he had been ignoring my emails. I wanted to give him every chance to live up to his guarantee before posting here. It has now been over a month and I feel I have been more than paitient. I don't want anyone else to repeat my mistake, and while there have been negative posts about Rod here before, there have been many positive ones as well. I decided it was necessary to post some specifics.

Sure if you want to play catchup, you bet 75 units on the game and 50 units on the total!

..........If you have even HALF a brain , you should be making money picking merely 52% in baseball just by signing into THE RX !!!! If you are full-brained, you should be earning 5-9 units a week, just following the tracker and best bet threads daily !!!

Tout = Scum
"Customer" = Sucker

Pure and simple, folks. If these guys were so good, they would be betting their picks, not selling them.

i thought the meat/potatoes was an issue with the rules at nine.com whereby something was done incorrectly and it should not have stood. obviously i never heard the phone conversation and that maybe be critical

the point here is rodfather agreed to refund this customers money - but so far has declined to do so - by the same way as the client paid him. he then says no your information is incorrect and spouts of his record at the rx as proof (which none of us can see his full list of plays so we cant verify independently) -- if the guy is so good surely he after one month could pay back this guy his 495 - as he stated he would

you are only as good as your reputation - and he just lost his

he should be banned till he settles this dispute - either directly or through arbitration (however dont see how that would come into it after he agreed to refund the money)

just my opinion

I am only saying touts are touts and they should be considered as such no matter who the percieved victim is. How many have posted here about what a so and so tout Rodfather is but refrained from doing so with Sciandialato.

Personally I assumed this issue was put to bed over a week ago but obvioulsy it has not been settled. I hope Theereodfather simply pays this person his money back and ends the problem.

Not taking Rodfather's side at all...one question I have though, if he's doing so poorly , or ripping people off (which is debatable I suppose) why hasn't anyone else said anything?

No one wants to admit they paid for losing picks, J-MAN. I know when I did, about 13-14 years ago.

When I won, I would openly admit that I paid for them from such and such. But when I lost, it was the most shameful crap. I did not want to admit to anyone, that I PAID TO LOSE.

or it could be as simple as he has no customers.just a lot of big talk on here about having 100's of "clients".

that could be part of it.....we have so many posters though, I would think if he had as many signups as he claims and was doing poorly we would hear about it.

I don't think its necesarily wrong to pay for picks if ;

You know the guy is decent

You know you can't win

The price is relatively cheap compared to how much you play per game, example , pay $100 a week and you're a $300-$500 a game player, that isn't that bad really.

All that being said you can find free picks on this forum that should keep you ahead of the game.

That is very possible too I suppose...I don't know if Rod had a client base prior to the Rx, I seriously doubt he picked up 100's of customers from here.
