There are a lot of rumors swirling around about Panama. I have a close friend who is part of the movement in Panama. And I have just excepted an invite to come down the second week of July. I will give you all the inside info about the Sportsbooks,Government,Banking,Climate,Living Conditions, and especially the Restaurants (a Krackman favorite) haha. But I to have some interest about Panama. And my friend has been in the business for many years and worked offshore and has never once been wrong about the offshore world. And he just got back and was blown away by Panama. He says it has everything the offshore needs. He even predicted that at least 20 sportsbooks would be there by next year. He says its the perfect set up for any sportsbook. The clerks are educated and the salaries are minimal. The cost of setting up is very minimal he says. Software and bandwidth and such. And the cost of living is good for setting up also. Rent, shopping etc. He even named some very good restaurants and lunch spots that I know they don't get in other offshore locations. I will have an article up when I come back. Just call me PANAMA KRACK'S (-;

You friend forgot to add a few things:

PANAMA IS VERY SAFE, much less crime than CR, and the roads there are the nuts, again not like the pot hole ridden roads in CR.

I LMAO when Tico's explain the roads are bad due to too much rain - like it's the only spot in Central America with rain.

He did mention all those things. I will put it all in when I can write the story. He did talk a lot about security guards everywhere. And police presence everywhere. Said he felt secure everywhere. He did mention there were some places he didn't think he should be in. But like he said "That type of stuff is everywhere." He talked a lot about the traffic and how populated it was there. And he talked about all the high rises and stuff where the people live. He told me it was like a smaller version of Miami. That's how he described it. Even mentioning some top restaurants that he was amazed were there. And some stores where he went shopping. But like I told him "that's not the stuff I am interested in" I want to know about the sportsbook and operations. He assured me things were fine there and said he would give me a tour of everything when I get there. I will report on everything when I get there.

I am sick and tired of reading this stuff about how good Panama is. You won't know it's advantages and disadvantages until at least a year and a half when the books have had time to settle in.

Looking at the industry long term - CR wil always rule the roost.

Miami:

How bad is Panama City?

No Nicas or Haitians there. Got CR and Miami beat to hell right there.
