The True Poker Rx NFL Challenge (STARTING TONIGHT)

True Poker is inviting all Rx posters to enter the True Poker/Rx NFL challenge every Friday night of the NFL regular season, starting Friday, September 10 at 9pm EST at www.truepoker.com. Rx readers are invited to join that tournament, with a cost of $25+2, to win cash from that week’s prize pool. See www.truepoker.com for tournament payout breakdown. You can also win your entry fee by playing in one of our $5+1 Sit&Go tournaments running daily starting Saturday, September 4th.

Each week, points will be awarded by True Poker to participants based on their finish in the weekly event, no matter what position! Point standings will be posted on the Rx and will be updated each week, so you can keep check of where you stand.

At the end of the regular NFL season, the top 20 point accumulators will be entered into the RX Super Shootout, with the winner receiving 2 tickets on a Superbowl party/World Poker Showdown Cruise Feb 6-13, 2005 (or equivalent cash value)! Included in this prize package is return airfare to Orlando, two tickets on the cruise and entry into the welcome poker event, hosted by Chris Moneymaker! Cash prizes for 2nd and 3rd place as well!

Has anyone figured out why the blinds are equal amounts at True? Kind of odd to have 2 equal blinds at the table instead of small and big.

Hi all! I have been playing at true poker for around the past year. They are sponsoring a texas holdem tournament in March of this year in Vegas at the Palace Station Casino. Its a $28 buy in and $77 entry fee. Top ten make it in the prize money. I will more than likely ve attending this event, if anyone else plans on going, give a hoot or a hollar.

I made a mistake, its march 24th 2005, no limit tourney and i believe its a max of 100 players.
