First of all, my apologies go to you guys for the long absence. Last week was a very intense week for me. My 3-year old son Ethan fell ill with an infection in the left hip caused by rare bacteria (the beauty of the tropics) and he went to surgery last Thursday… As of today, he’s recovering at a very accelerated pace and the doctors are impressed with his speed of healing. I love my little son in a way I have never loved anybody in this world and those were hard times, but now I thank God from the bottom of my heart for having heard my prayers and having healed my son. I’m a friend of God.

Now, I’d like to announce that I’m leaving Hollywood. Sunday, Feb. the 22nd will be my last day here. For the last 16 months I’ve had the good fortune to work for a company like Hollywood Sportsbook. They gave me an opportunity nobody had given me yet, they believed I had something to give and they provided me with the stage to do my thing. For their faith on me, I thank Hollywood.

I’m leaving the company, mainly because I was offered another great opportunity to keep on growing and I will take it. I will remain involved with this industry, though. I will be working with John from SportsBookReview.com. (Thanks for the vote of confidence, John). I know many of you have many questions regarding my role in SBR, but at this point I’m not in the position to answer any of them, as I still have a lot of info to digest and my journey is yet to begin. I will gladly answer one and all questions as soon as I’m in the position to do it in an accurate manner.

Gentlemen, I want you to know that I feel honored to have worked with the main guys behind Hollywood and even more honored to call these guys my friends. The Holly guys are honest and hard working people that understand the importance of being men of their word. Hollywood International is a great company that has a sound management and a very solid financial back up. They will continue to grow at a firm and steady pace and they will always remain one of the safest places to play in the offshore industry.

I’d like to thank the most important people of this industry: the PLAYERS. My most sincere gratitude goes to those of you that came to play with Hollywood and deposited your trust with this company. You won’t be let down, gentlemen.

Hollywood Martino: you my man are my brother. Thanks for having taught me everything I know about this industry. Thanks for always lending me a helping hand. You have earned a friend for life and the next time we bowl, be ready to get your ass handed to you… (I know, I know… I bowled a 68 once…68). Thanks Martino, for real.

Hollywood Joe: thanks for giving me a chance, my man. Thanks for always being fair and sincere. You have taught me valuable lessons that I will never forget.

Hollywood Fernando: despite of always being incredibly hectic, you always had time to answer my many questions. You have forgotten more about this industry than what many people will ever get to know in their life time. Thanks for transmitting a little bit of all that knowledge to me.

And special thanks to all the Hollywood staff and my team mates.

My respect and admiration go to you guys.
Thank you all, thank you Hollywood.

Will

My best to you and your son. Best of luck with your new venture. Of all book reps that posted here, IMO you were the classiest and most responsive. You were a credit to Holly.

Will,
May you...
Work like you don't need the money,
Love like you've never been hurt,
Dance like no-one is watching,
Screw like it's being filmed,
And drink like a true Irishman.

In all seriousness, thanks for the kind words and good wishes for my little one... I love my kid and I'm blessed to have him in my life.

And thanks to all of you for all the support you guys gave me, while working with Hollywood. I wouldn't have gotten anywhere without your help, fellas.

My best wishes for all of you guys. Keep on slammin' the bookies and bashing Landerette.

We have had the pleasure to meet you at last year's christmas parties and to do business with you on several occasions. You are truly a class act, and will be a huge asset to John I am sure. Hollywood is losing something when you go, but we know that hollywood has such a sound company and structure that they will continue to be one of the greatest books in the off-shore industry. We wish you all the best and will also pray for the best for your son, who we are sure will return to full health and happiness. Hopefully we will c**** paths again soon.
