In the original ISIS thread which I entitled something like, "Group More Batshit Crazy Than AQ Terrorizes its Way Through Middle East" awhile back I posted ISIS goal was to establish a regional caliphate and maintain power through brutal rule.

The game has now changed. ISIS has changed from a regional terror group into a global sponsor of terror. Their goals have also changed as they've realized holding onto territory is problematic. Their ambition now is to kill Americans and bomb American businesses on a worldwide scale.
