J-man: I don't think $200 will suffice. I know this much... You have to get some class-time in, packing and deploying and re-packing chute will cost some, the aircraft, retrieval, time, insurance by operator, administrative costs, etc. I'll guess about a dozen jump max.
I doubt you get this for $200.
I'm looking at it as a business. ... I open up ACME SKYJUMPING. I need a plane ( of some sort ), a pilot, equipment, overhead costs covered, instructors ( coaches ?), insurance, and a PROFIT.
I doubt I can accomplish this at $200 a head, therefore I say it likely costs more. Weather conditions may prevent from me holding jumps for several days... too windy, rainy, etc.
The more I think about it ... from the other side... the more I doubt it's $200. I haven't looked up rates... no cheating !
I conclude by saying this has to be expensive ( $800 a head ? ). $200 seems low IMO, how much is a bungee jump, from a crane ? ( $ 50 ?)
