You are responsible for posting picks in this thread BEFORE GAMETIME! IF A PICK ISN`T IN THIS THREAD BY GAME TIME IT DOES NOT COUNT....

Rainouts do not count as a pick, you must select for the entire round, as we will be re-seeding after each round....On sunday you can choose an alternate game in case of a rainout, please specify ALTERNATE RAINOUT SELECTION....

How do we make 10 picks tommorrow when there is only 3 games?

Railbird its for a week...Each round is ONE WEEK LONG, You have until Sunday of next week, to make all your plays....

Any questions just ask, anyone who hasn`t played before....

First off thank you to Sportbet for sponsoring this tourney and Journeyman for moderating it.
This is my first Tourney of this nature so please indulge me.
By posting plays prior to the start of games the heads up player with the lead (even a 1 dollar lead) will have the opportunity to duplicate his opponents plays and maintain that lead thru the week. I don't know if this happened in the past or is an unexcuseable way to play (it is in my book, with the possible exception of the very last pick of the week) or how this is treated.
If we email you the pics (plays, not nude photos) before the game and post them ourselves 5 min after it starts this issue will be a nonfactor.
Thanks again and would like feedback if this was a problem before.

I am going to send nude pictures not picks!

I wouldnt mind seeing a contest run in this fashion when we start football. How about lets say I am playing RPM. For the week we each get 5 games. Well we would post our picks and the first person to post a play on a specific game, gets that game all by themselves, the other player cant choose the opposite team in the same game. Maybe he could take the over/under, but 2 players cannot take the same plays! It sort of works the same for baseball except for that the last person to post knows which games he needs to take to win!

But Randy, we email the plays to Journey at any time during the day, then we post themn anytime before the start of the game. But i do agree that the 5 minute rule is pretty smart. But realize that Journey is supposed to check the times that he receives emails to see if they are before the game starts. I can tell you that I wont be around at hte start of each game, so my picks will be in early usually.

Also, Journey, can we make it a rule htat you get 1 post a day to post the plays? I mean it is only 10 plays over the whole week, I would think that the players could post all of their plays in one thread, and it saves work for you

PLEASE GUYS READ THE RULES, WE HAVE DONE THIS THREE TIMES NOW...IT IS NOT AN ISSUE....ALL PICKS ARE EMAILED SO THIS CANNOT HAPPEN...AND ANYONE THAT TRIED TO COPYCAT WOULD BE EXPOSED SO EASILY...IT WON`T HAPPEN!

That rule enforced on posting our plays here? I ask because I will be sending my plays at 2 or 3AM probably to you via e-mail. I am not always around when the game starts. Some games may be afternoon games etc... Do we have to post our plays in the thread or not? And if we don't are the plays counting or not?

Just want to be find out because if I oversleep and don't post them here I want to know if we have action or not. BTW this is not a complaint, I will abide by the rules. Just in the past it wasn't a big deal if we posted them or not. If we forgot or whatever someone else posted them for us when the game started if we were not around. Thanks Jman, you run a mean contest.

Yes Pat, the picks have to be in the thread to count...if for instance an email is sent and the picks don`t get posted the plays DO NOT COUNT.....

Is the Email also mandatory? or can we post picks without the email? Not trying to ask stupid questions just wondering?

Journey-last contest we had to email you our picks atleast an hour before game time and post them atleast 30 minutes before gametime. This prevented any piggybacking. As I read it this time, both just have to be done before gametime, is that correct? I would suggest e-mailing 10-60 minutes before gametime and then posting before game time. Thanks

MFG, we waived that rule last time actually....One player had a problem with the time living on the west coast and working, so we waived that rule.....piggybacking, if anyone really tried to do that it would be so obvious to everyone, its a non issue, if anyone is worried about plays being copied just post them as late and close to gametime as possible....
