The Rx.com has some polo shirts with our logo on them we would like to give away to posters. They are white with a blue, red and black embroided logo and blue trim on the collar. Sizes available are Large, Xlarge and XXlarge only. The only restriction is we can only ship them to addresses in the US and Canada...

Rules:

1. One guess per question per poster unless I provide a clue then posters that have quessed wrong prior to the posting of the clue may guess again and again after every clue until the question is answered or called too difficult, in which case I will post another question and everyone starts from scratch again.

2. Winning answers must be judged "close enough" by me. For example a mispelled name that is obviously a particular player will be considered a winner if it is apparent who the player is. Eg. Joe Dimagio is obviously Joe DiMaggio. I will use plain common sense to interpet more complicated answers and will give the benefit of the doubt to the poster whenever possible. All calls of "We have a Winner" are final.

3. The first poster to answer the question correctly wins in the event of two or more posters answering correctly in a brief period of time.

4. Remember these are very nice shirts but they are still just shirts. Should I rule in favor of one poster over another with a similar answer there will be an opportunity to win the next question. I will try to be as fair as possible.

5. Winners will have to supply me a shipping address that I will keep confidential. Allow at least two weeks for delivery by US Priority Mail.

6. Unforseen events that arise during the course of the trivia contests will be ruled on by myself and at least two other moderators, our decision will be final.

7. Posters on post review are not eligible to participate because of time constraints.

8. These questions will be fairly difficult but I have no way to prevent interested posters from using any means available to find the answers. In other words you can use the internet in anyway you want to find answers.

9. Many of you who took shirts home from the recent Rx Bash 2008 can vouche for them, they are very nice shirts. Everyone can play with a maximum of six wins retiring a poster from further competition.

10. Try to make your answers as consise as possible. I will only post "We have a Winner" and not no to every wrong answer. I will try to answer your questions about the contest if you post them in this thread..

Best of luck to all, wil..:toast:

First question - MLB..

In the modern history of MLB (since 1920) there have been 24 players who hit a home run off the very first pitch they ever saw as a big leaguer in a regular season game. In other the words in their first career at bat these players hit the first pitch of that at bat our of the park.

The question is name the player in the group of 24 who (or in the case of still active players use their current count) that has the most total career home runs as of today....

Good luck to all, wil..:103631605
