my take...
the ending was exactly that...everything that vic has lost...
his family, the strike team, the streets...and all respect from his peers.
all he has left is his gun...and it brought a smile to his face.
nothing will change for vic mackey.
only angle that i thought could have been done stronger was w/gardocki. that could have been intense if ronnie would have tried to smoke vic..if he had the intel on mackey's self serving immunity.
the scene towards the end...where ronnie was devastated about what shane had done...and then in the same light showing relief that shane & his family dying... gave them freedom from the past...all the while not knowing that he was going down because of vic.
overall it was a solid ending to an excellent show.
