them changing the name from redskins isnt going to do anything to you. stop with the holier than thou white male victimology card
the name will eventually be changed, the question is when will it be changed. i said 5 years ago 50 years til gay marriage is legalized nationally, more realistically it looks like the end of the decade.
i would say maybe 20-30 years on this name. eventually it will be all of the indian names most likely.
because times change. whats acceptable 80 years ago doesnt mean todays society would accept it.
where i do agree with you is that this is more of a media driven event. if it was some real injustice that indians were going out and talking about it'd be different and i would say get rid of the name.

This^^^ It is white liberals..Years ago, the Los Angeles City High School district banned all of those kind of nicknames..My high school was the Univeristy High School Warriors, the high school had a natural spring running through it, and it was built on what was once Indian grounds, hence the name..The white liberals came in and said that they knew what was better for everybody and changed the nickname..There were a few high schools that had this done to them..We became the Wildcats, and Birmingham High school was the Braves, they changed that too..My high school(class of 71) will always be the Warriors to me..Fuck them!
eventually every indian sport reference will be eliminated. whether that is good or bad is up to the person i guess.
i do believe pc is killing the country and this forum as well. you cannot have a topic about race on this forum without being labeled a racist.
im comfortable talking about white males and how they support institutional racism and at the same time have no issue bringing up single fathers killing the black community right now, and that epidemic is starting to ravage white families as well.
