The Saints, !! however !!!, can still have a outside shot to win the NFC South[ 5-8 tied with Panthers]. The Bears, meanwhile, are out of contention, and their play in recent defeats to Detroit and Dallas has left much to be accepted by handicappers like us in the group. No way to jump on bears at home unless you were getting over a field goal or more? System Smitty Ryan has this game at 6 with the Saints[ without the weather factor affecting the game]. Chicago is dead last at 29.1 points allowed per game. But the Saints are not far behind at 27.6 points allowed per game, and according to Football References I read. New Orleans ranks last in the league at minus-5.6 DSRS, a shade below Chicago’s minus-5.5 DSRS. So how will Saints defense perform at Soldier Field on Monday night is a big factor. The weather here is a big factor calls for a 50 percent chance of showers and temperatures just above the freezing mark. It’s not Superdome weather? "Rx members".

"A more critical look at that record, though. It includes games where New Orleans got to play in other domed stadiums; chuck those out, and you get 4-4 SU and 2-6 ATS. Another game was against the Cowboys, which barely counts as an outdoor game. Remove that one, and the Saints are 3-4 SU and 1-6 ATS taken From Vegas Insider News Media" by Smitty. The running game hasn't been bad (4.7 yards per carry, sixth in the NFL, this could be factor of this game against the bears.), But poor plays from the defense and holes resulting from turnovers as they ranked in the bottom 10 in football with 22 of them entering Week 15. This has forced them to be one-dimensional more often than not. Only the Indianapolis Colts have more pass attempts than New Orleans this season. The Ceasars Sports Book point spread opened the Saints -2.5 and has bounced between that number and -3.

J.J. Bascus power rating has this game even, however Ecco % Rating vs his power rating has NO 25.6 CHI 21.6 at -4 NO. On the other hand, the Saints played extremely well in a big road victory over the Steelers and beat the Panthers 28-10 on short rest in Carolina back in Week 9. So maybe a trip to Chicago, where the Bears are only 2-4 this season, is just what the great guru of the sky has ordered. New Orleans Saints -3 is my bet with also our group pick. ~Good Luck All You Guys On The Game Tonight~ This is a press bet for me tonight after winning the Minnesota game and press bet on the money line -$172 Saints after winning the money line on Carolina game. You can't win? with my betting strategy, if you don,t press once!!!

boy harry, it sure seems like they have hung that -3 all week and saints are getting heavily backed by the public...no one is playing the Bears it seems... I think as bad as all things point towards the bears, you would have thought (I thought) maybe they go to -3.5 or -4... I'm starting to see some heavy juice at -3... -130 & -135, but I really thought the line would have moved... I'm really going against the grain here but I cant back a very average team, (domed team) on the road, laying points in ugly weather by game time.. I'm in Chicago and they say rain for sure and 16MPH winds and in the low 40's..., I am NOT a homer, believe me, but I have to play the Bears tonight... good luck to all..

I live in Louisiana, big LSU fan, I root for the Saints but I'm not a die hard fan, and one thing I know is the Saints cannot play on the road in the elements. Now saying that, I have no clue who to freaking bet on. LOL

The line isn't moving off of 3 because of middlers. Their is a very good chance this game lands on 3 and if you got the -2.5 a good middle presents itself if the line moved to +3.5

Sounds very tense in New Orleans today. More than 10 players called individually into Sean Payton’s office for review[ Vegas Insider News Media]. This Game Is to Important with a playoff shot in the division to lose and you bet Sean Payton is far superior coach then Marc Trestman and so is the Saints coaching staff also. Chicago is out of it !!! whether it's bad weather or not? I like -3 points in this game

I don't agree, only at -2.5 for a very short period of time... unless people are buying it down... but at -120 juice and higher, I doubt that is happening much.. it will go to -3.5 by kickoff, I'm starting to see it at some shops already... just my thoughts

I'm seeing NO -3.5 (even) and -3 (-130) since this morning. -185 ML

Seems like bettors are wiping last weeks NO/CAR game off the board or laying everything on the brandon marshall injury. CHI is perfectly capable of keeping it competitive against NO at home. +3.5 is looking decent right now or CHI ML +160 for the odds.

When I first saw the line I thought Saints were the pick, and I'm still leaning that way because as bad as they are, they still have something to play for. The one thought that keeps me from doing so is who are the shitty Saints giving up 3 points on the road to any team?

People still don't realize what a stinking mess the Bears have become this year. They won't win another game this year. Saints -3. BTW, I live about 15 minutes from Soldier Field and it's 47 degrees now with just a little rain. Not bad at all for this time of year. GLTA !

I don't agree with the 'out of it angle' Harry...I reference the Jak Vs. Bal game yesterday. Jacksonville went for it on 4th down on their own 30 yard line early in the game. I've followed you yesterday and you made me a lot of $$..Good luck today. I feel teams that are out of it are harder to cap. They may not be playing for anything, but players do have pride. Yes, you can doubt the Bear's pride, but I like the +3 pts. However, I am in a sticky situation..I have a 3 team parlay.. had under of Washington..and dallas ...those two hit already...now I need chi +3 to finish my $100 to win $584 parlay...buying back saints is just procedural for me..should I take it before it moves off 3? juice so damn heavy.

Always unreal to me when you guys leverage a parlay. Dont bet the f'n thing if you are not willing to ride the wave. It make zero sense!!!

That said if you are on a 15 team $10 dollar leverage the fck out it. :)
