With the recent announcement of Ryan Zimmerman's injury people seem quick to be writing off the Nats. On the contrary, I actually think this motivates the rest of the line-up to step it up and they actually are in a great spot tonight back at home with Livan on the bump. Joe Blanton has been a gas can historically against the Nationals and carries an ERA over 10 over his last 3 starts. Look for the Nationals to grind out a tough game and keep it close throughout.
Minnesota Twins vs. Kansas City Royals UNDER 8.5 RUNS

Brian Duensing is a vastly underrated pitcher in the American League and also seems to turn in quality starts for the Twins. He's opposed by one of this year's big surprises in Jeff Francis who looks healthy and rejuvenated in a KC uniform. I wouldn't be surprised to see a 3-2 type of game out of these teams tonight.
Cleveland Indians (+155) vs. Anaheim Angels

I'm not getting off the Indians bandwagon just yet. Tonight Fausto Carmona takes the hill for the Indians sporting an ERA just north of 2.00 against the Angels in his career. On the other side we have Angels ace Dan Haren who has been great this year, but has been hit around by the Indians more than once in the past. I love backing teams on winning streaks when nobody gives them any credit to keep them going... just saying.
