That is a very commendable gesture by Marty (are there other owners?); I am proud to be associated with such a forum. Thank you!

The donation will be from the Rx. in the name of it's posters to The American Red Cross

So I assume this means I can use the deduction on my 1040 next year?

In all seriousness gentlemen...this is a tremendous act of compassion and generosity and one that makes me proud to be a part of your family.

I cannot believe it. I am stunned by your generosity!! Thanks. It makes me proud to be a part of this group. I hope that I add something to this site such that I can make up $2 worth of that $20k by participating!!!!

Thank you, Thank you. tulsa

I have family there.

No. I've never met them.

No. They don't have my name.

No. DNA would prove otherwise.

But I care for them just the same.

Their country they share with me.

They are American.

and with them I am proud to be.

I have been watching the news all night. I am a little concerned about the inteptitude that people are talking about in reference to the RED CROSS. Shep Smith said he hasn't seen 1 Red Cross truck yet. I know that millions have poured into the RED CROSS. Not one aid truck yet? I think we should vote for another charity. This is horrible.
