Chris et al,

We have recently opened a direct communication channel which I trust will remain as such. However I am somewhat disappointed of your latest opinions. The Royal Sports Group has never stiffed anyone, and this you have recently convened. Even the Autiger saga has been cleared. We have made an offer to the guy through a third party and he has declined it. He has informed us he is taking us to Court and has retained a local attorney to represent him. The same attorney that IB has just retained as he ( IB ) seems to have a problem to comply with the order of The Court of First Instance . A mere coincidence I suppose.

Back to Gamblers Avenue we both, you and I, know the truth . As we both, you and I, know that Grande was never in the loop.

The Royal Sports Group has all intention to have Gamblers Avenue grow, and we will dedicate all necessary efforts and convey all needed resources to make this happen. Yet I find quite unusual, to say the least, that we have to publicly discuss this issue . A bailout agreement has been convened to, you have had all the insurance you need, or you have been seeking for, to make sure that Gamblers Avenue's customer balances would be SAFE, typed as you recently did.

As a reminder to all I will copypaste CIGA's latest statement about the Royal Sports Group :

quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Whilst CIGA does not audit any company's books, I can confirm that in my best judgement and belief, having seen various evidence, Royal Sports has sufficient cash reserves and access to capital to continue to trade profitably, as it has done successfully for many years. Based on the confidential data I have seen, I can further comment that Royal is in far better shape today than at any time in the last 3 years.
Alistair Assheton
Chairman, CIGA

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I shall honestly admit that I have appreciated your continuous effort in challenging the Royal Sports Group as I feel that, also thanks to your contribution, we are the Offshore Company that has been disclosing all about itself , its past problems, its current safety, its future plans of expansion.

Yet you have to undertand, and seriously hope you will appreciate, that we have endured our efforts primarily through the firm execution of a business plan that has never been subject to or has never been remoduled in view of external pressures.

We will proceed with the Gamblers Avenue as per agreed terms with its former owners. These terms do contained the rollover. Discussed and agreed by both parties.

Sincerely,

Roberto Castiglioni

Roberto you should of never BAILED OUT this clown. This will only be a losing propostion for you. You cannot win with idiots on the forum nevermind all the sharps and that is all the players Gamblers Avenue had.

If you had the chance to do it over again I am sure you would not make the same choice.

Personally, I think all the bettors who had balances at Gamblers Avenue should be THANKING Royal, not doing all the bitching that I see on the board today.

Instead of watching your balance go up in a puff of smoke (ala Prime Time Sports), you now have the opportunity to roll it 5 times and then withdraw.

If you can't handicap well enough to roll it 5 times, why does it really matter where you lose your balance, the old GA or Royal?

Either way, I think the GA balance holders got a decent deal.

Royal saved alot of players and a year from now that will still be remembered. Royal appears to have made a full recovery, why else would they take on GA ? I am sure alot of players will cash out immediately after the rollover, some will end up back at GA down the road...Will it be worth it to Royal in the end? PROBABLY... Gamblers Avenue customer base is small potatoes compared to Royal....

If players had to suffer for say a month not knowing what was going to happen to their funds ( like BetMega last year ) I think Royal would be getting a more favorable response...While I had no money at GA, I was in a similar situation 5 years ago with LONESTAR SPORTSBOOK ( owned by STEVE TURNER SCUM ) my 8 dimes was in limbo for just one week ( it was a very sleepless week ) Sportsmarket/Aces took over the acct. balances and paid with NO ROLLOVER one week later....I would have been thankful to have my balance and roll it over at that point!

Offshore Scum list grows;

Charlie Therwanger
Mike Silver/Fred
Steve Turner
Scamelot Mark
BETMEGA, IDO, GOLIATH...

Jman, I agree. I think that players have become absolutely spoiled.

Maybe Royal should have let GA do a complete faceplant and then step in. It is mind boggling how people can bitch about a 5x rollover. Do they still believe that this was a sale?(which it was NOT)

Are people still convinced that GA was not completely broke?(they were)

Maybe it's time for those of you who play at shit books to get a big hard reminder of what it feels like to have your entire balance vanish into the night.

TTinco,
Books have red zones. If they get below profit margin after their big post ups from bonus adds tehy could sell and add rollover for the buyer while keep some profit.
Royal/GA crew are each saying it was a buyout and bailout at the same time. It doesnt work like that. Do you really think Royal is giving away 350k at 5x RO? If this is the case and GA had zip I want to pat royal on the back and be a big supporter from now on. Its everyones right to see how much their account was traded for if at all. Its not as if Royal is putting money in Royal accounts at rollover for everyone who got screwed. They are operating GA with same accounts adding a rollover. That is not ethical without explanation.
You cant tell me you see this as completely kosher as is. Can ya?

Bill, there were payout requests that couldn't be paid. What does that tell you? Sounds a little past the 'red zone' doesn't it?

They were EL BUSTO. The players were going to get STIFFED. No one else was coming forward with a bailout. What am I missing here?????

How do you know players couldnt be paid? Freddy amd Mikey show you company bank statements? They show you how much was in their personal accounts?
Even Sting is admitting money changed hands and thats against his best interest.

Bill, would you feel better if I told you that I was sitting in Royals office during the time that this whole thing transpired?

Ahhh now it's starting to make sense.(your bad attitude and attacks on IB etc) And so has Roberto also been the one that's been feeding you lies about my associate? Some interesting stories huh?

Let's talk about Gamblers Avenue...as the story goes they were original in talks with Grande....but then a little bird started some rumors in the forums (most of GA's clients are forum sign-ups) that grew and then started a run-on-the-bank and then when the time was right Royal knowing that Grande would then balk at the sale came in to the rescue.

Hmmm what's your version Mr. TTinCO that sat in Royal's office during all of this.

Please enlighten us.

BTW as the story goes Grande was NOT going to require a 5x rollover and players should know that if true.

Whether or not Mike Silver had any cash left or stole the post up when he realized the Gamblers Avenue Sportsbook was doomed probably can`t be answered by anyone but him or his partners...

But for anyone to believe they would have been paid by those clowns if Royal didn`t take over is dreaming...The after sale comments by Mike Silver are dispicable...I hope for his sake he is in a nice witness protection plan somewhere...

You know the market value of post ups are different to the book with conditions. We already covered that. Most players don't look at the big picture which is why someone has to.

TTinco,
If you have the ability to enlighten me then I would consider you a worthy source. Whatcha got? Tell me why GA has any pull to emiminate ROs when Royal saved their lives by not letting GA people get stiffed.

No offense to anyone who responds to my threads but all anyone is offering is trust mes and making statements that they are so sure about but no one is willing to back up.

Your on the right track but they can be answered. Alot of people know and the more people that ring the bell for the parties involved the less likely my posts will be tolerated. The chances are better for the parties involved to ignore me wait it out than it would be to admit to ANYTHING and try to rebound. I doubt we will ever know whats up unless someone steps to the plate. Maybe in time...

IB, I'm not sure where you get your "info" from, but the entire story about Grande and a "no rollover" offer is BULLSHIT.

There were no other bids, offers, etc-No one else had stepped forward to bail out this bad joke of a business model.

If "Silver" had any money left, why were there so many pending payouts that didn't get paid until everything was signed over to Royal? Don't think too hard-this isn't rocket science.

Bill, it's real simple-they didn't.

I'm not 100% sure what the motivation behind it was, but I think that the attempt to eliminate the rollover was something that Sting thought that he might be able to "arm twist" into happening.

If you saw the numbers, you would realize that hell would freeze over before Royal eliminated the rollover requirement.....no one in their right mind assumes that kind of debt without a rollover requirement.

Jman, unless you have talked to a few people directly involved, it's actually much worse than you realize.
