The Rookie's Week 7 NFL Thread YTD: 11-5 +5.5

Starting my week 7 off with a Thursday night play. Hoping to start the week off with a win just like last week. Initially, I wasn't going to bet this game. That was until I came across a stat that Kaepernick was 0-6 ATS against the Seahawks as a starter, and that Pete Carroll was something like 10-2 ATS against the 49ers since he became the head coach. After seeing those trends and knowing how desperate the Seahawks are for a win, I have to go with them. The Seahawks have really disappointed me the last two weeks by blowing two big leads to come out with a push and lose the other. I figure they have to come through for me sometime right?!

Okay 1-0 on the week so far with my Thursday night play. I have 4 plays for today right now. 2 early plays and 2 late plays. I am really liking the Chiefs today. The Steelers are 5-0-1 ATS while the Chiefs are 1-5 ATS. The majority of the bets have come in on the Steelers, but the line has moved from KC -1 to KC -3. The Chiefs have lost 5 in a row, but 4 of those games were to some pretty good football teams. The Chiefs need this one in a bad way.

Thanks TCG! All of them except that Chargers bets were pretty good bets. Boy that was ugly. I really thought they would come out and just dominate this game knowing how important it was for their season. Oh well can't dwell on it too long. Tonight, I am going with the Eagles. I'm going with Philly for the same reason I went with the Giants today. They have to extend that lead as much as possible while Romo and Dez are out for the Cowboys. Panthers have also been playing way above their heads. Everybody saw that Eagle offense struggle last week in a primetime game so I expect a much better showing tonight.
