The Rookie's Week 5 NFL Thread

It's been a good week so far as I am currently 5-0 in colleges games this week. Hopefully 6-0 if California can hold on! But now it's on to the NFL. I have already made my bets for the early games tomorrow and here they are.

WEEK 5 Early Games:

Washington +7 -110 1.1 units to win 1

Cleveland +6 -110 1.1 units to win 1

St. Louis +10 -110 1.1 units to win 1

I should have 1 or 2 plays for the late games, but I am still deciding on that. Anyways GL to everybody tomorrow.

Games can all still go other way. I would be happy just to get two of them. Adding two late games for this afternoon.

2-1 on the early games. It very easily could have been 3-0. The Rams missed 3 FGs although one was from 63. He still had the length for it though. Foles threw 4 picks with two being inside the 10 yard line in the 4th quarter. I feel like I was on the right side of that one. Oh well now to the late games.

Split the late games to bring me to 3-2 on the day. Up .8 units so far this week. I would like to bet the Giants tonight, but I just never know what to expect from Kaepernick. So I will just play the total instead.

Record now 3-3 for the day and down .3 units. Hopefully a win tomorrow can get me in the black for the week. Haven't decided how I am playing it yet though.

Looking for a winning week with my bet tonight. I believe the Steelers offense will have a much better game than last week. Vick was on a short week last week and now he has an a week and half for this game. Add that to a depleted Chargers at pretty much every position group and I don't see the Chargers even winning this game. The Chargers have been a mess on the offensive line. They have yet to start the same 5 in a game yet. Also look for LeVeon Bell to have a big game in the passing game. Chargers linebackers have had a lot of trouble with pass catching RBs. I am also thinking of playing the over in this one, but I am going to hold off as of right now.

That's not exactly how I thought it would go, although the result was the same. San Diego was better on both sides of the ball, but never could pull ahead. Their offensive coordinator should be fired for not opening the playbook up. He was way too conservative after the first drive up and up until the 4th quarter. Oh well I'm not complaining. Glad to have a winning record in the NFL and College this week.
