Been on a roll lately and its nice to be leading contest if its just for a day.. Im still basically trying to grind out profits and turn a beginning $5000 bankroll on dec 15 into $10000 by years end, currently we sit at $7660 for an increase of 53% in exactly 1 month... I wont change a thing, tonights plays are for $100 and i only have 2 of them,,, Van-1/2 (+1.15),, Det/Col over 5 (-1.10).. These are contest lines and will be shopped by me for value both local and offshore.. good luck guys..

Like both your plays. Although I did not pull the triger on the Canucks.

Good luck

in capping these games, i go through and circle who i like and reasons why, then i apply the money management,, tonight only left me 2 picks, i like several others but i dont lay much odds.. one that came close was ott/ana under.. i liked it but didnt play it.. it may be a winner since i didnt play it but so be it,, id rather leave winners on side than to add losses.. this is why i only have from 1-4 plays per day, 4 would be an absolute max.. this may be why i cant win the 2nd half contest : because i wont pick as many games each day.. im betting 99% of my contest plays so i pick and choose those carefully.. good luck today.. Canucks should win tonight, shouldnt they? ill bet ivan likes them and i havent read his picks today..

Over the years I have found that some of the best handicappers whose work I've watched had trouble differentiating between their light plays and their heavy plays. I've seen handicappers percentages on their 1* plays be signicantly better (mathematically significant) than their 3* plays. When I respect a handicapper I respect all his plays, not just the ones he rates the highest and I respect your handicapping ability in hockey, sir. Therefore win lose or draw I rated Ottawa under as a play along with Vancouver and Detroit over. The contest may not include it, but I do (and I gave it equal monetary weight thank you). I therefore had you as 2-1 yesterday. is it possible for you, in the future, to mention the games that you leaned towards but didn't pick? Whether you do or don't I thank you for your past picks and wish you much luck in the future.
