Congrats to OU and their Backers!!! I know this one had to feel really good especially nice to see the Sooner players step up and get their coaches back after his comments made about the SEC during the off season. Please lets not say that Bama came out flat in this one. They got beat and out coached on both sides of the ball tonight. It does not happen very often.

The Bama D got their ass handed to them by a Freshman QB that lit it up (per Stoops). Was a great game to watch. Congrats to all Sooner fans. A win like this goes a long way. Just glad I won some Sooner money.

cheers.

The guy can coach. What's even better, he's a pretty cool guy. Funny as heck on the golf course.

I hope he never leaves Norman. This will be huge for the recruiting front and I can see OU being contenders in the next couple of years. Bringing back Mike Stoops was also an excellent decision

Best offensive game planning I have EVER seen him do. Like many coaches, less pressure when a dog. I think he's good in that role.

Stoops did a phenomenal job this season considering we lost our two best defensive players Corey Nelson and Jordan Phillips. And then losing our best RB Damien Williams. On top of dealing with a very young team with only 11 starters back, and having an inexperienced QB for the first time in 6 years. Really unreal what OU has been able to pull off in the second half of the season. It makes it that much sweeter when it is unexpected, just like it was in 2000 for the Sooners. I think the big key to OU's success was Bob's brother Mike coming back and coaching for OU. Those two brothers work very well together.
