If they don't win the east they're looking at playing the Angels in the ALDS. They are 1-8 vs the Halos this yr. Losing this series and plus the two they dropped last week to the Rays, is putting them so ever close to the Angels.

Also, somebody let Jason Bey know he's not in Pittsburgh anymore. You can't leave your team in the middle of a pennant race unless it's a dire circumstance.

Took the rays...but wakefield is done...he's had it...and he's had it for quite some time...Agreed tho...Sox just dont seem to want it badly this year...and Manny is a beast...dont really see them in the Series...and I think they know it...

First off, if the Red Sox do play the L.A. throw out the 1-8 record, everything gets reset to 0-0.

Second off Jason Bay (not Bey) was involved in a three way deal, you make it sound like he abandoned the team.

Third off, Bay's wife had self induced labor, and was by her side during the pregnancy, with the full blessing of Francona.

Silly you for thinking a childs game supersedes real life.
