The "REAL" Fade Brandon Lang Thread

During my coversation with Eddie Roman I took detailed notes. Eddie said when Lang realized he wasn't making up enough money to pay his bills he told Eddie he was going to start this Millionaire's Club where for 25K gamblers could talk to him personally and get his super big releases. Eddie said he'd go along wth it on two conditions. Lang was to service all these people and he had to report the games he was giving to these clients to Eddie before they started. Eddie even helped Brandon out by telling his biggest clients about this "ultra rare" and "super expensive but highly successful package". They wanted 25K out of each client but Eddie said maybe 1 or 2 paid the whole fee up front and another 1 or 2 paid 5K or 10K and would pay more as they won. Well to start off Lang started posting some 3-0 days without reporting the games to Eddie. Eddie started getting all kinds of complaints from the few clients and faders. We know and Eddie susected Lang was making up results. We'll after a few weeks Eddie finally got about 7 to 8 of these "Millionaire games" before they started and Lang went something like 1-6 on these games and Lang got pissed and ended the Millionaire Club. Lang posted some bullshit record in these club games of something like 31-6 with almost 1,000 fake dimes of profit when in reality they were like 2-10 or 3-10. Lang abruptly ended the Millionaire Club and these 3-4 Millionaire Club clients were left holding the bag. They got no more games and didn't get their money back. Lang changed his cell phone number and those few clients were calling Eddie for months wanting their money back. Lang neither returned a penny or did he ever return any of those clients calls or handle their complaints. This is when he knew his relationship with Lang was doomed to failure. I'll give a few more choice stories asthe day goes by and I have more time.

I would feel bad for those 'clients' (if they really existed). But I find it hard to believe anyone would fork over $25K, or even $5-10K, upfront without doing due diligence on Lang. If true, those people deserved to lose their money. A simple google of "BRANDON LANG" nets you all you need to know about this guy. Roman too. I have not had any conversations with Roman - but he HAD to know what he was getting into. I actually believe you talked with him, and believe he stated what you are reporting (because if you actually just made this all up - you need a better hobby - and I don't think you would do this). However, and it's pure speculation on my part, I find it likely that after a year, Roman is so pissed he's just raking Lang over the coals. Let's face one thing up front - this industry is FILLED WITH LIARS. Roman included. The whole 'industry' is a scam, built not on picking winners, but rather on picking people's pockets. So I'd take it with a grain of salt when Roman feeds you this line that he was some sort of 'victim'. While I have no doubt he lost money in his relationship with Lang, I hardly think Roman was some "Good Samaritan" who had no idea what Lang was going to do with that dumb club. A six year old could have snuffed that out. And if what Roman says is 100% true, than he's dumber than I could have believed.

Me? My guess is Lang screwed Roman over, owes him a ton of money, and Roman has taken his bad relationship and embellished it to make himself look better - while feeding all the Lang haters. It's done to position himself to SELL. At the end of the day, I honestly believe that's all ANY of these guys do.

That said, by all means, PLEASE keep posting the notes and emails/texts. It's very entertaining. It's kind of an inside look into the world of scumbags. Thanks for posting this stuff!

Roman actually was quite frank and said he should have known what he was getting into when he added Lang. When I asked him questions about how he ran his business he was also pretty honest and said the handicapping business wasn't always on the up and up and he wasn't proud of being a part of it and had made some mistakes along the way. He didn't go into too many specifics. He did though mention which I had no idea that he actually worked form Steve Budin for a year or two maybe 5-6 years ago and he not only sold games under Eddie Roman but did so for at least one other made up name. He said there was switching off going on all the time and some guys handled 4-5 names. Can you imagine being with a fake name and the guy is doing well and all the sudden that guy making the picks and doing the write up is let go or goes on vacation? He said Steve Budin and Al Rollo/ Demarco would tell them when and what size of play they should put out many times and in the end that's why he left. He said he wouldn't and couldn't continue to put out 100 star lock type plays or Games of the Year when in reality he didn't even like the card. He said the whole website, amount of plays, size of plays, what to say and how to market was similar to a WWE Wrestling match. It was all a show to simply get as much money out of the client. I'm not familiar with his operation now but if I had to guess they do have a fake name or two on the Eddie Roman site he runs and they also market to some extent to make as much money as possible but he says they are more on the up and up so I'd say they might be an improvement over the Budin and Rolli/ Demarco sites but not by that much. He also said Lang's name is totally worthless at this time and through people he knows he's heard Budin is considering cutting Lang loose altogether because Lang's a money losing proposition since he came back. He also said Lang cut such a bad deal for the movie he doesn't make a cent off it being shown on any TV station or anymore ongoing video sales. He said Lang was too greedy and took all his money up front. Although Lang might brag about the movie on AMC it's not making him one red cent anymore. Roman also said he never saw Lang bet a game and they were in Las Vegas a few times together. He said Lang never picked up one check when they went out and Lang was always looking over his shoulder because he owed so many people so much money. Last thing is he said Lang was always suicidal after big losses and long losing streaks and Lang talked often about killing himself but Roman joked that he probably wouldn't do it because he was afraid of his own shadow and the thought of blood made him sick. Let's keep fading and making cash!

I went back through threads at this site and others for 4 years and saw no evidence of these EPIC runs. I guess when your dillusional you can make up whatever lies you feel like telling and if you believe it then it must be true. This loser Lang actually called me with his "Millionaire Club" bullshit. When I asked him where he got my contact info he said, "from a mutual friend". The conversation moved to his record and he got agitated when he realized how much I knew about his record. He abruptly ended the call by saying, "you obviously don't know a winner and don't want to make big money." About a week after our conversation the desperate bastard called back and left me a voice message. I never returned the call. However, since I don't subscribe to any "services" and place my business with others, I am curious as to how he got my private number........FADE, FADE and FADE some more

Whatis is friends with the guy who saw Lang in Las Vegas bet 5 figures on the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl. Lang is going anywhere except for to goodwill and the soup kitchen to get his meals. How many times do I have to tell people. Lang doesn't even bet. Even in the late 80's Lang would bet $20.00 on a game.There were 16 NCAA March Madness games and Montana was the best Lang could come with. He's worse than a joke! I'd bet my paycheck this week he never even watched Montana play this year.
