The "REAL" Fade Brandon Lang Thread

Question for you Zags. Why (other than you are an asshole) would you seek out a thread where a guy (Pimpy) is keeping records on a handicapper, and then come onto the thread and start keeping track yourself? Seriously? You have to be a special kind of dickhead to do that.

How can a fade Brandon Lang thread not have results of How fading him is doing? People used to ask all the time what are the results of when you fade. Until I started keeping track of it in this thread, no one dared post the results. Knowing the truth doesn't serve the purpose of embarassing Lang as much as possible so it was never posted. The truth needed to be known. So I started posting it

Pimpy keeps track of every completely useless, irrelevant, waste of time stat there is about Lang. That is his thing. Nothing wrong with it, but it is a total waste of time and energy. Truth is that keeping track of what his record is for individual sports or dimes amounts looks impressive but is complete fluff because all of Lang's picks are coin flips. They will end up near 50% like all coin flips do. Does knowing that he is 5-1 this year on 75 dimers make you think twice about fading?? Absolutely not...we are going to fade the play regardless.

Now Pimpy has copied it into his stats too. He is just taking the best possible results rather than the real results that the average Joe gets thus the discrepancy. It serves his interests better. You clowns see it as pissing in your cheerios. I am just keeping it real.

I see that all of the fade Lang blogs as well now track the fade's progress. Mission accomplished as far as I am concerned. Those stats provide a little reality and reality isn't as fun as saying we are fading Lang to 2nd homes. Fact is that fading Lang is an easy way to make a few bucks year in year out as I have been doing since 2009. There are a lot of newbs out there who read all of the false bravado and think that they are going to retire on Lang and then get buried when he goes on his small runs. That is why my reality was needed. I am going to do it no matter how much you hate it. Too F'N Bad is all I say. Get used to it b/c it isn't going away.

I don't give a rats ass about all the fun you have at Lang's expense. He deserves it. He is a clown. I just hear from many how they got buried believing all the bravado was real and that is too bad. It is their own fault for not being prepared, but still a shame. They don't realize that the majority of people slinging all the shit don't even bet his games at all. They are just piling on. Like I said that is all good. Too each their own. Whatever makes them feel happy.

I kept the fade record along with Lang's record for the entire year in 2009, so quit acting like you invented the wheel. In 2010 he was gone to Roman's site so no point. There was a lot of times last year, especially during baseball season where we weren't even getting the plays posted, so a fade record was kind of stupid. I've also stated that people fade Lang in their own way so a fade record is really never going to be accurate for everyone. But Lang's own record is something that is accurate and it shows how truly horrible he is, especially to some newb who may be thinking of purchasing his package and following him. Lang's true record is important, not fluff as you call it.

Also, when I grade plays I try to be as accurate and honest for both sides. You've already admitted yourself that you personally won on the play in question, so did I. So did the majority of faders in my opinion. So you calling the play a push and saying you are being accurate is laughable. If you want to grade plays on your own go start a new thread. It will take you 2 seconds. But you won't because your main agenda in this thread is to be an asshole and you crave the attention, even if it's negative.

Lang throwing out his first NBA play in over 2 months. This should be good. You don't follow a sport for 2 months and then give out one game in the NBA and then back to college baskletball for the next two weeks. For a guy who claims to almost make the UNLV basketball team your 30-51 basketball record is a joke. Lang's still talking about his 40 dime win on Saturday, his only win over the last 11 games. What about the other 10 losses Lang? What about your last 50 dimer, 75 dimer, 80 dimer or 100 dimer, ALL LOSSES? The sad part about Lang is he can win one game and act like things have been going great. When you've lost over 10,000 dimes over the last 6 years you only have us Lang, FADER NATION.

The fade would actually be up only 452 because there was no juice counted in the super bowl loss. So even if he lost the super bowl then we are still only up half as much as he is down. While some of that is because of juice, I'm sure some of it also comes from teasers he lost where we did not win anything because we can't fade them

Here's a video blast from the past, going back to last year, a few days before the NCAA Championship game. Lang was still talking about all the fake dimes he had won over with Eddie Roman. He claims that come Tuesday, after the big game he will have the last laugh. He uses the term "my friends" for the Fader Nation, LOL. Well he ended up losing his ass and dropping a shit load of dimes and the last laugh, as usual, was had by Fader Nation.

Yes, if the Fade would have won the Super Bowl the Fade record would look a helluva lot better than the +52.5 it sits at right now. But this also proves my point as to how the fade record will never be accurate for everyone. How many Faders actually faded for the full 200 Dime amount? How many Faders liked the Giants and didn't fade the game at all? How many casual Faders liked the Giants and went with Lang on the game, shudder the thought, LOL.

Everybody fades Lang differently and not everybody fades Lang on a daily basis and there are days when we probably won't even get his plays. That was part of my reasoning as to why I didn't keep a FADE record in 2011. It wasn't to hide anything as our ignorant "friend" zags suggests. It's because it's probably the least accurate record I kept just based on the fact people fade Lang differently. The only accurate fade record is going to be the one you keep for yourself.

So zags started the fade record back up, fucked it up and I had to step in and take it over. Didn't want to but it had to be done. If he would have just followed my lead and kept the records in sync we would of never had a problem. But he decided he needed to grade the plays on his own, so we did.

I just can't wait until baseball season starts and we both grade with different lines, that should be fun. hno:

Yea it was obvious he would save his 40 dimer for next week that's why I guessed a 10 dime coin flip in the NBA and I was right. He'll be talking up that 40 dimer when the tournament starts and I'm sure a 75 dime play this weekend with his recent record on them. He'll probably start the week out with some "bankroll builders."
