at -14 1/2? What the heck did it end up being I had Texas +16 1/2 betting it on Thursday afternoon, I saw my book earlier today had them at +15 1/2 around 10am. I didn't pay attention to the line on this today and what it went up or down to with the book I used.
When was the last time Lang took such a heavy favorite???? I was shocked when I saw him taking this play. Seems like all year its only been underdogs and small favorites or taking a bigger favorite first half only or something like in the North Texas game I believe. where they didnt rev it up until the 4th.
This also gets back to me wondering why he would have such a problems taking Michigan -15 over Villanova instead of the Ohio State play he lost with against Illinois. Since he had Michigan over Gonzaga and they won by 40.....so he didn't like Michigan -15 at home against Villanova whose been blowing everyone out but then comes with UCONN basically with the same -15 number who against decent teams has been under this number ...beating Kansas by 5, beating Florida by 4, beating BYU by 2, Illinois by 13 all under this number at 14 1/2.....and this falls right into another under 10 point win which is where I expected this line to be right around -9.5 to -10.5 in which Texas still would have covered but this line was significantly inflated regardless. Uconn has played a lot of tight games against good teams this season so far even in their loss. This did not seem like a game where one would expect say a 20 point blowout or something.
With all Lang's dogs this year I would have highly expected him to take Texas plus the points if doing something with this game. I believe the biggest lead was 12 so at least we dont have see the whole "they were covering the whole game until last 2 minutes" type shit in his write up tomorrow. Texas was there the entire way.
