Correct. As I said, when you can have a media presence, let's say someone like that Krackenburg guy, who gets interviewed ViSN occasionally. I don't doubt he's had a few good years, maybe was even a "pro" for a while. What isn't easier, though (just think about it) about giving interviews, making segments where you just talk, not having to worry about models, changing the models, getting runners, paying runners, avoiding tracking, filing with the IRS, etc. People thin being a gambler is just sitting in a frickin' LA-Z-boy and printing money with your mind, as if that's even close to what's going on. If you know what's going on, and I do, you realize that that's what all the simpletons think about the the guys they eventually buy picks from. Most people don't understand what goes on at BrandonLang.com. Here it is in a nutshell. There are only 4 employees. Brandon Lang does his picks and used to do one other made up person. Not sure if he does that made up handicapper anymore. The other 3 owners / employees are Steve Budin, Al Rolli who goes by Al Demarco and the website guy in Atlanta. All 3 do the other picks for themselves and all the made up handicappers.
I and most people could care less what any of the other few real and most made up handicappers pick.
You can get several cartoon characters, have low overheard, and "sell picks?" That's one of the easiest "jobs" going. The real key, and that's why you see Langer as such a loud mouth, is marketing and trying to get fools to buy your dung. Steve Stevens is similar. Most are the same. The ones we make fun of are not even decent cappers that get eaten by juice, they're simply BAD sports bettors. As I said, watch - even this year with Lang entering September up 400 dimes or whatever, he'd lose it all and then a lot more. That's how bad he is in football. Clockwork.
