Trust me, it should never have come down to a backdoor layup with 3 seconds to go for the cover if you watched the whole game.
Nice to see the clear cut right side of the game got us paid.
Let's start with the fact Creighton's guard Steve Ashworth, who came into the game 94-97 from the free throw line on the year missing 2 front ends of a 1&1.
That's 4-points left off the table and going scoreless for close to 7 minutes in the 2nd half turning a 53-48 lead into a 58-53 deficit, didn't help matters either.
Crazy game to watch. At no point in the entire game did the Red Storm lead above the Vegas number of -6 until there was 1:17 to go.
So yes, we got the cover but my god Creighton will look back on this one if it costs them the Big East regular season title and say a big fuc@#$$#kig "what if."
It was a winning month of January and it's a winning month of February so far.
Time to bang home this 2nd straight 50 dime winner.

I said I thought that total was a big low and it turned out exactly that as Duke/Virginia delivered the 2nd straight 50 dime winner by getting over 133 1/2.
The game went over with 2:40 to go and the 80-62 final was 9 points over that Vegas total.
Note folks, Virginia has now gone Over the total in 9 straight games!!!! I think somebody needs to tell the boys in Vegas these aren't the Tony Bennett Cavaliers!!
