The Pick: My 75 Dime winner is the Baltimore Ravens.
The Line: The current line is -5 1/2 at the majority of books in Vegas and offshore as of Noon EST. Be sure to shop around for the best line available.
Note: If this line should move to anywhere from -6 to -7 1/2 points, then you buy the half-point down on the Ravens.
Update: At 10:45 am eastern time, the Ravens are now -6 points.
My Analysis
They will figure out a way to get it done.
After a week 13 home loss to the Eagles 24-19, the Ravens bye week couldn't have come at a better time.
Early December, a playoff push forthcoming, 3-games in 11 days ahead of them.
Well, they have most certainly come out of it a different football team.
They rolled into New York 2 weeks ago and as a 17-point favorite, destroyed the G Men 35-14.
Back home last Saturday, they pulled away in the 2nd half courtesy of a Russell Wilson pick 6 and routed their rival Steelers 34-17.
With their win over Pittsburgh, the Ravens are a game back in the AFC North and after today, they finish up with the Browns at home.
John Harbaugh's Ravens need to win out coupled with a Pittsburgh loss today at home to Kansas City or next week at home to the Bengals to take the division.
They couldn't ask for a better team to play on the road today.
Forget the fact Lamar Jackson has never lost to the Texans, going a perfect 4-0 SU and ATS.
Since the Texans became a franchise, the Ravens are 10-2 all time against them and Houston hasn't beaten them since 2014.
And how good are the Texans really?
Only one of their 9 wins have come against a winning team and that was back in week 5 at home over the Bills.
Forget the week 3 loss at Minnesota 34-7, over their last 10 games they have faced 3 winning teams and gone 0-3 losing to Green Bay, Detroit and K.City.
So the Texans face a team they can't beat, on a short week, with injuries across the board having already clinched their division.
No matter what they do these next 2 weeks, they still get a first round home playoff game so how hard do they go out and fight for this win with the injuries they have?
I know it's hard to play the Ravens after battles with the Steelers, as most of those games take so much out of each team.
However, Baltimore has come out of their bye week a different team and from an X's and O's standpoint, they are a match up nightmare for Houston.
I'm going to lay it and call for the Ravens to win by 7 or more.
