Well, after reeling off 5 straight college basketball winners Wednesday through Sunday, I have dropped 3 in a row.
NC Greensboro Monday, Dayton Tuesday and Georgia Tech last night.
Greensboro on Monday didn't even bother to show up at Furman getting blown out but the clowns decided to show up last night at home and win. Go figure.
Dayton on Tuesday led 38-31 at the end of the first half but allowed VCU to close on a 10-1 run and then allowed them to close the game on a 10-0 run. Nice job there.
Last night Georgia Tech led 26-20 at the half and 44-41 with 6 minutes to go only to get outscored 16-5 the rest of the way for the loss.
Not exactly what I was looking for after 5 straight winners Wednesday thru Sunday last week.

Well, nice to see Georgia Southern head coach Brian King actually do a great job coaching his team to play a full 40 minutes of basketball in the wire to wire cover over Georgia State last night.
Needed a rock solid win last night and I got it with King. His team should have won the game outright as they led 72-71 with just over a minute to go.
They missed 2 wide open jumpers on back to back possessions which cost them the outright win but easily covered catching (+6 1/2).
Southern led for pretty much the whole game and the largest lead Georgia State had in the game at any point was 5.

Well, last night it was nice to see my +3 1/2 point home dog Arkansas State go wire to wire for the outright win by 11 over Arkansas Little Rock.
They took a 27-15 lead with 5:42 to go in the first half and maintained a double digit lead the rest of the way.
That was after Georgia Southern (+6 1/2) goes wire to wire for the cover over Georgia State losing by just 4.
Now I roll into today looking for not only winning day #3 in a row but winning Saturday #3 in a row.

Well, after the 25 dime winner Thursday with Georgia Southern Thursday and the 50 dimer on Arkansas State Friday, felt good about #3 in a row last night.
Felt good about the 100 dimer on Washington State (+8) over USC and it looked like a rock solid call pretty much the whole way.
I mean, they were only down 63-61 with 5 minutes to go and then they completely imploded on multiple levels getting outscored 13-4 the rest of the way for the 76-65 final.
So frustrated with that one last night. WSU goes 3 of 25 from 3 and yet still only trailed by 2 at the 5 minute mark. That's tough pill to swallow.
Great call Georgia Southern Thursday. Even better call Arkansas State Friday. Only to watch Washington State self destruct on Saturday.

Today is about college basketball winner #8 out of 12 and pushing the current college hoop winning streak to 11-5 my last 16.
