I really love this game one today.

Not many things in life will leave me speechless but last night's Spurs/Denver game did just that.

I don't mind losing a 150 dime play but let me lose it the right way and not the wrong way, especially with a hall of fame coach on the sideline.

The Spurs are down 90-86 with 27 seconds to go after Torrey Craig blocks DeMar DeRozan's shot and the Nuggets have the ball.

And San Antonio proceeds to let the clock run out. All 27 seconds of it.

I once saw Reggie Miller score 8 points in the last 9 seconds of a playoff game for Indiana to beat the Knick in 1995. That was 9 seconds. Not 27.

At the end of the day, when you blow a 17-point lead in the 3rd quarter bad things are going to happen and sure enough, they did.

The winning streak starts today.
