Well, clearly the wrong side of the game to open the betting week as my 50 Dimer is completely the wrong side with San Diego State over Utah State.
As good as the Aztecs were in winning 5 in a row both SU and ATS including wins at home over Utah State and Nevada, was as bad as they were last night.
Then to see Virginia Tech beat Duke was just more salt in the wound.
Not the way I wanted to start my bounce back week and surely not the way I want to close out this winning month of February.
Quite frankly, hate to give back hard earned profits from earlier in the month but it's going to happen. No way around it.
My focus is the next 2 days. Today and tomorrow. A 2-0 sweep.
In my opinion the most important month of the entire year is this month of February. You have to have a winning month.
With March Madness and the money to be made in College basketball, the conference tourney's, CBI, CIT, NIT and the Big Dance, so much money to be made.
You have to arrive in March with momentum and regardless of what happens these next 2 days, it was the winning month I had to have.

Well, if you thought last night's 40 dimer on Penn State (+1 1/2) destroying Maryland 78-61 was easy, then don't miss this big one tonight.
It's very rare I come with midweek selection this strong as normally Saturday is that big day but I can't let the world miss this gift going tonight.
As you know, I was going for a 4th straight 150 dime winner on Saturday and watched in horror as Syracuse imploded in the 2nd half against Duke.
I will not let that loss shake my confidence on what has otherwise been a fantastic run here in February in basketball.

A new month starts today as we look to have another huge March.

Well, all I am going to say about last night's 150 dime loss on UAB is you expect the best player on the team your backing to play well at home to close a game.
UAB led for the entire game until 6 minutes left when their star guard Zach Bryant proceeded to personally turn it over on 4 of their next possessions and game over.
That one was a stinger. Loved the play. Stand by the play. As good as Bryant was in the 68-60 win at Western Kentucky was as bad as he was last night.
Gave away pretty much all of my February profit with just a terrible run to close February and now I must have, for the 2nd straight year, a huge March.
Now take a deep breath before reading the following number:

Inside that number is the fact I closed the NCAA tourney on a 13-2 run including Villanova destroying Michigan in the Championship game.
To put it bluntly, I have to have another March like that. END OF STORY.
Bottom line, I won't let the last 6 days of last month take away from what was otherwise a very good month.
Better guard play in 3 games down the stretch and it's an ungodly month.
But, and this is a very big but, when you are wagering on kids these kids will choke and I had a few absolutely gag at the wrong time.
