Before I got home the bank called and left a voicemail that my check had to sit before it cleared.

My wife was pissed and asked me "what check?"

I was worried my bookie was going to dump me because I've been winning so much. I cracked up when he told me that when I call in a bet - i'm usually the only one on that side. Like the Houston/Ravens game. He didn't kick it upstairs because JOE PUBLIC - like Lang - was all over Baltimore. He was rooting for Houston too - because it meant he (and I) were both gonna clean up. Lang sucks. I knew this streak couldn't last, so I doubled my dimes tonight and made up for the last couple of nights.

When your owned by Budin / Demarco you have to sell picks everyday and it's all about the hype. These real and fake people are all about the sale. You don't take days off. You have to try to sell, sell and sell some more. They don't base their selection at all on how they like it. It's usually based on picking games that are high profile especially in football and basketball.
