If I have said it once I have said it a million times: You can't start a winning streak until you hit that first one.
And that first one came last night coming in the form of UMASS (+9 1/2) going wire to wire with the easy cover versus undefeated Miami/Ohio.
From the opening tip the Minutemen led and the undefeated RedHawks didn't take their first lead of the game a three put them up 68-67 with 8:40 to go.
So trust me when I tell you, UMASS should have won the game outright.
Think about this: it was a 2-point game despite Miami/Ohio got the home whistle all night shooting 38 free throws to the Minutemen's 17!!!!!!
It really is a shame the near double digit dog didn't pull of the win.
It was nice to add 25 dimes back to the winning bankroll.
