In the crowded Big 12 it is easy to lose track of teams that are quietly having a nice season.
Where the world focuses on the Kansas, Iowa State, Arizona and Houston's of the world, there are teams in this conference doing some damage.
Allow me to introduce to you the Oklahoma State Cowboys and their 13-3 record, a team that has yet to lose a home game this year.
A perfect 11-0..
They were 9-0 when they lost their first game of the year at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City against Oklahoma 85-76.
They opened the New Year losing at Texas Tech 102-80 before the 87-76 home win over UCF laying 1 1/2 and then the rock solid battle with Iowa State last Saturday.
As a 20 1/2 point dog, they stood toe to toe with the Cyclones trailing by only 2 at the half and in the 2nd half Iowa State could never pull away.
The final 83-71, was the largest lead the Cyclones had all day.
Folks, I'm just not a believer in this Baylor team, especially on the road.
Forget the 3 neutral site games they had back in November, I want to talk about the fact they have only had 2 true road games all year long and they have lost both.
At Memphis on December 6th laying 3 1/2 they lost 78-711 and at TCU January 3rd catching +2 1/2, they lost 69-63.
Bottom line: Oklahoma State is the better team and they have played the more consistent winning basketball this year as well.
Cowboys go to a perfect 12-0 at home this year with the win tonight.
