While I realize this is a fade lang forum, I often post about line movement and betting percentages. In this case, the line moved from just above 3 to just under 3, and the bet percentages and money is nearly equal.
It seems strange to drop to 2.5 which is one of the most unattractive numbers for a dog bettor, suggesting the books want more last minute $ on A&M. On the other hand, it could be to push prospective Miami bettors to take the moneyline instead of the points. It could also have to do with the fact that the total has contracted from ~52 to ~48, and thus the line with it.
Either way, dickwad had his customers pay (-130+) for a line that’s available at -115 if you shop around. That’s an extra $300 exposure for his “ten dollar bettors.” Great work.
