I can’t believe lang is taking the higher era pitcher This has to be a first!

When he took the Cardinals recently over the Braves he took a higher ERA pitcher. Braves won with Holmes over Liberatore who had the higher ERA. 6-5 end of third and it stayed there for the final score so he couldn't blame any bullpen issues.......went to his next by focusing on they had chances to score later (just like the Braves) can't just accept a game as it actually happens ever...

I don’t recall the ERAs in that game but I should have specified. He has been known to take a higher ERA pitcher in the past, but it hadn’t been a significant difference. Usually less than .5, but yday play was over 1.0 difference in ERAs. That’s unusual for Lang to take the higher ERA in that situation.
