It's the calm before the storm.
With the "Big Show" starting on Tuesday along with the NIT, it's your typical NBA Monday.
And I like what I am seeing in this Denver/Golden State match up.
Rock solid weekend with the 100 dime winner Friday on Boise State and the 200 dime winner on Colorado State Saturday.
However, a 3rd straight winning day and the weekend 3-0 sweep alluded me on Sunday as Cornell (+5 1/2) just couldn't get there against Yale.
When the Big Red's Adam Hinton went to the line to shoot 2 with 10 seconds to go and Cornell trailing 9, I knew he had to make both for me to have a shot.
He made 1 of 2 and after Yale made 1 of 2, the backdoor 3 by Cornell happens with 2 seconds to go and a 6-point final rather than 5!!!!
It was still a big time profitable weekend highlighted by the 200 dime winner on the Rams over Boise State.
Waited 340 days to hand you that 3rd straight 200 dime winner and it was the absolute blowout I said it would be.
I am right where I need to be heading into the biggest college basketball week of the entire year.
First things first, and that is to hit this 50 dimer on the NBA hardwood and then on Tuesday let the madness begin.
