Don't know if we put last night's 75 dime winner on Western Kentucky (-2 1/2) over UTEP in the lucky category as they get a bucket with 5 seconds to go for the cover.
But one could argue lady luck did smile.
WKU was up 76-71 with 10 seconds to go when they inexplicably foul UTEP on a lay up and the ensuing freee throw put the game on 2!!!!!
Now you need a foul on the inbound to get to the line where all you need to do is make 1 of 2.
Instead you get a breakaway and the Hilltoppers Tyrone Marshall Jr could have just ran out the last 5 seconds.
But nope, he decided to get the layup, put up his 7th and 8 points for the night, just 1 short of his season average of 9 ppg and give WKU backers a winner.

After the absolute stupidity of LSU on Wednesday, nice to bounce back with a win last night and keep this College basketball winning streak going.

Off the winning month of January to start 2025, let's roll out big in search of winning month #2 in a row to start 2025.
No surprise, it's another Saturday and another big time College basketball underdog waiting for you.
Last Saturday my 150 Dime release on VMI (+8) at home was easy money as they went wire to wire for the easy cover over UNC Greensboro.
They lost 74-72 in a game they really should have won outright.
To no one's surprise, I have another 150 dime release today that is another underdog that I will be absolutely shocked if they don't win the game outright.
Speaking of which, last night cashed winning day #6 out of 7 and College basketball winner 7 out of 10 with Canisius (+3') at home over Niagara.
Once again, the Golden Griffin's should have won the game outright as they had the ball down 1 with 14 seconds to go but Paul McMillan couldn't get his hands on the ball.
Instead Tana Kopa threw up the brick and Niagara held on for 64-63. In my breakdown I said I needed 30 plus from McMillan for the win: he had 27!!!!
Oh, and the 83% foul shooter missed 4 free throws!!!!! There goes your outright win right there!!! More missed fu@%$king free throws from your best player.
