Well, I can honestly and officially say Pacers coach Rick Carlisle is a dumbass.
Looking for a 4th straight playoff winner and a 5th straight winner overall, I back the Pacers against the Giannis "less" Bucks on Sunday.
Without Giannis, you know Bucks Damian Lillard has to go off and score at least 30 for the Bucks to have a chance so you have to make everyone else beat you.
What does Carlisle do? Plays him straight up, man to man, no double teams, lets just play him with one guy and roll the dice.
Nice job Rick you fu@$#king idiot, as Lillard goes for 35 in the first half as the Pacers are down 27 at the break.
The 2nd half, he doubles Lillard, gets the ball out of his hands and Lillard only attempts 5 shots, doesn't score a point as Indiana climbs back to 83-71.
That is as close as they would get and my 100 dimer goes down.
Carlisle's quote after the game, "The first half was embarrassing. No excuses. We've simply got to come out better. It was ugly and we all own it."
No Rick, you own it. You throw the kitchen sink at Lillard from the onset, take the ball out of his hands and live with everyone else trying to beat you.
To be going for a 4th straight playoff winner, a 5th straight winner overall, to build this winning streak into Sunday and watch that coaching job made me want to throw up!
