All about the winning Monday.

Well, after the 100 dime winner Saturday with N.Illinois, courtesy of the 1/2 point buy to +7 1/2, felt good about the Washington Football Team on Sunday.

After their defense held the Chargers scoreless in the 3rd quarter, they pick off Justin Herbert at the 4 yard line with 12 minutes to go in the game and in control.

First play from scrimmage Gibson fumbles and Chargers score 3 plays later and it's game over 20-16.

Not the way I saw Sunday going in the NFL.

Now on to Monday night as I look to close out the Saturday, Sunday, Monday 3-day football run cashing 2 out of 3.

Do you lay the wood with the road favorite Ravens or grab the juicy home dog with the Raiders?

Nothing like a good match up on Monday night.

It's no secret I am looking to make September a 6th straight winning month.

Look what I have accomplished by winning the last 5 months:

A winning college basketball season. A winning NCAA tourney. A winning NBA season. A winning NBA playoffs, a winning baseball season and a winning NFL preseason

Not too shabby.

But I am a little behind the 8-ball here in September to post #6 in a row.

If I have said it once I've said it a million times, it's a long month and you don't accidentally win 5 months in a row.

You grind, stick with the process and let the chips fall where they may. I still like my chances here in September.

Well, I said I needed to hit the Monday night game and I did as the Raiders (+4) deliver the 50 dime winner in OT 33-27 in an absolute wild one on Monday night.

So after the 100 dime winner Saturday with N.Illinois, courtesy of the 1/2 point buy to +7 1/2, and the 75 dime loss Sunday on Washington, it was a must win Monday.

And the Raiders delivered big time in just one big gutty performance by not only their defense but QB Derek Carr, who was absolutely clutch in the 2nd half and OT.

It's no secret I am looking to make September a 6th straight winning month and it's my job to build of the winning football weekend.

Lang a tang. If you let the "chips fall where they may" then why do you get so upset when relievers "don't do their job" and "the coach forgot how to coach" and said player imploded? That's counterintuitive to letting the "chips fall where they may".
