Well, went to the well one time too many times with the Lipscomb Bison last night.
Honestly, didn't see that kind of performance from Gerry Mathews coming.
As good as he was against NC State with 44 and Wichita St with 34, that was as bad as he was last night going 2-10 from the floor and basically a non factor.
And with that, I lose my first guaranteed release in 6 tries with the 60 dimer on the Bisons.
I give Shaka Smart and Texas all the credit in the world, they shut him down and got themselves an NIT championship.I

Time to bounce back.
Well, I give Texas Tech all the credit in the world for beating Michigan State.
I didn't think they could contain Cassius Winston. They did.
I didn't think they could contain Goins and Tillman on the interior. They did.
And in a million years I didn't think Chris Beard could out coach Tom Izzo but he sure as fu@$@#k did.
So after a 9-1 run heading into the 2nd round of the sweet sixteen, I have now gone 1-6 over my last 7 in college hoop.
The only thing left to do now is bang home this 30 dime baseball winner, hit the Championship game Monday night and finish the college hoop season 11-7 my last 18.
It starts with a winning Sunday.
