All about a winner to set the tone for the weekend.

Well another one comes down to the wire and I end up on the wrong side as the Bucs get the win and cover over Miami.

Bottom line is you can't get inside the 3 yard line in any game and go for it and not get and not have it come back to haunt you, which is exactly what Miami did.

Going to come right back with another 15 dimer on this Friday card as I continue to try and find my footing and turn this thing around.

Love a total on today's card and feel good about this 40 dimer.

As for last night, my run for a 3rd straight 15 dimer comes up short as Gerrit Cole retired 15 of the first 16 hitters and stacked to a 2-0 lead but couldn't hold it.

On both sides of the ledger I am streaky. I get steaky hot and I get streaky cold. Which it were different but with me it's not.

I can't get any positive consistency going but trust me, been doing this so long I know it will turn and this ship will get righted.

Winning week #2 in a row starts tonight.

Didn't finish off the winning week the way I wanted last night as the Padres fell in 10 innings to the Angels.
