The Purge: Election Year

Any of you guys see the new one yet? Any good?

Least favorite of the three I have seen (Is there only three?). But if you go into it with the idea of being entertained and take it for what it is worth it is a good time.

Obviously the series requires you to suspend realism but that is even more the case in this one. A little preachy too ... also seems to want to equate the confederate flag to the swastika which was an amusing take. But it was entertaining. But I liked the first two purge movies so I already liked it going in.

I liked 2 better than 1 but yeah, you're right. If you go into the Purge thinking an Academy Award winning film is in your future, you will be disappointed.

2nd one was definitely the best. This one was entertaining, just not as good. Great concept though!!

Right. At least the original idea was something new instead of the regurgitated crap hollywood usually gives us.

The concept and the idea has the recipe for an entertaining movie but I feel like all of them could and should have been better.

Sorry, I cannot watch stuff like this. It actually bothers me that humans make this kind of stuff. Hate horror movies, all of it.
